Calling All Shoe Designers, Artists and Fans of the Detroit Pistons!

Are you a fan of the Detroit Pistons? Think you could design the hottest kicks around? Do you fancy yourself a renegade artist who likes to see their work on unique surfaces? Or maybe you're just someone who likes online contests and has a lot of free time on their hands.

Whatever the case, the Detroit Free Press is sponsoring a contest in which applicants can download a form complete with a blank shoe, and submit their Pistons-related designs.

While the shoes are of course, only the paper kind, the top three entries will be featured in a Detroit Free Press article, and will receive $150 to buy themselves a new pair of kicks.
