KatrinaShoes.org -- Shoes Sought for Hurricane Katrina Victims
Sunday September 11, 2005
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, many people are left without adequate footwear, but the people and companies behind the "Million Pair March" initiative are hoping to change that - and they need our help.
Accepting donations of shoes, new socks, time and cash, the cause has already received pledges for 300,000 pairs from shoe manufacturers, with Birkenstock having already sent 7,000 pairs of socks.
To learn more about how to make donations, please visit: KatrinaShoes.org or call 615-406-9738.
