Shoe Trees

Tuesday September 26, 2006

Either you've never used shoe trees, or you swear by them.

Shoe trees are inserted into shoes to help maintain the original shoe shape; help prevent creases and cracking, and absorb moisture from the lining of the shoes. Available for men's and women's shoes, a shoe tree usually adjusts to cover a wide range of shoe sizes.

This look at plastic and cedar Shoe Trees explains what they are; how they are used; and what shoe trees will and won't do for your shoes.

Agreed. Seems like most people only remember their dads having them and haven’t thought about shoe trees in 30 years. Now that the world is in a recession it makes sense to use or invest in something that will save money by extending the life of their shoes.

My apologies for leaving this comment 4x, but I messed up html on the previous. I like your article on plastic shoe trees as well.
