Peep-Toe Booties : Hot or Not?
Sunday September 21, 2008

Peep-toe booties are gaining momentum this Fall, but I've heard a lot of complaints about these styles: some women apparently believe that our toes should only be peeping out of pumps -- not booties.
How do you feel?

Hm…. Boots are supposed to keep your feet warm/dry. Peep toes make your toes cold and wet. These are two things that should not go together. I _love_ fall because it gives me an excuse to wear all my boots (of which I have far too many pairs), but peep toe booties? They’re just silly.
Peeptoe booties are WAY HOT! They’re perfect for fall/winter evenings in Southern California… cool and dry.
Peep toe booties are just a trend. One of those things you buy on sale and wear because its in style. It might not make next year’s trend. I think they are hot but I would only buy 1 pair.
Depends on who is wearing them. Not every shoe looks good on every foot.
Yes, they’re perfect for milder climates, they’re also trendy, impractical for cold/wet weather, and they won’t look good on everyone (or with every outfit) … yet, I still think they’re hot — at least this style is. Will I be buying a pair? Probably not, but I definitely love it when designers push the limits, even when they push them a little too far. It keeps things from getting boring.
