Once standard footwear of the Japanese working class, these woven sandals have become increasingly difficult to find in recent years, although thanks to their comfortable and unique nature, they're beginning to experience a bit of a resurgence.

Intended mainly for indoor wear, these Japanese sandals would make a great holiday gift for yourself, for anyone who appreciates unique or comfortable footwear, or for that special someone on your list who is interested in Japanese culture.
