You know those days when you don't really want to get dressed to go out, but you kind of need to look nice... or at least, not sloppy?
Well, that's the perfect time to employ a pair of women's casual that aren't sneakers. Not that there's anything wrong with sneakers. In fact, I adore them (see last week's 5 for Friday). But, if you wear sneakers a majority of the time, like a lot of us do, then they're not going to make you feel very polished or pulled together.
On the other hand, a cute pair of loafers, boots, or ballerina flats can make you feel really special, even if you're wearing them with your favorite jeans and an oversized sweater.
And if you really want to add a little "oomph" to your casual style, go for a pair of chunky-heeled mules, boots, or pumps. Nothing too high or flashy, mind you. Just something simple. You know, to show just how cool and casual you really are.
While this week's collection doesn't even come close to covering all the lovely options in women's casual shoes, it will at least give you a few paths to pursue. -- Enjoy.
