Lately footwear styles originating from other eras and cultures have been making big waves in the fashion world. From mukluks to moccasins, there's a trend in casual shoes toward the "earthy." When this style is combined with vivid, contemporary colors, as is the case with many of these Minnetonka Moccasin shoes, it really makes a fashion statement.
When you think of fringe boots, it's quite possible that these definitive boots are the ones that spring to mind. With flat heels, full lace fronts and very tall shafts, these classics come in black or brown, and are perfect for pairing with skinny jeans and casual skirts.
Of all the Minnetonka boots to love, these are probably my all-time favorites. They have three layers of shaggy fringe and 12" mid-calf shafts. A lot of people know Minnetonka because of their moccasins -- which makes sense. I mean, they put the word right in their name. They've had a lot of different moccasin styles to love over the years, but the "Peace Sign" is one of my favorites. As you might have guessed, these casual shoes have a studded peace sign right on their vamps, as well as their requisite tassel and fringe detailing.
