I've written before about my feelings on the way these types of shoes look, but figured I finally owed it to myself (and you) to try a pair on and see if they were really as comfortable as everyone claimed. So, when Klogs USA contacted me to to try out a pair of their shoes, I jumped at the opportunity.
Since I'm definitely not the beach type and I don't work at a medical facility, I had no intentions of wearing them out of the house. Therefore, I had no clue as to what style I should pick. I chose the lavender version from their "Kremes" line, based solely on the fact that I really like purple.
My Initial Reaction to Klogs Shoes
When the shoes arrived, I pulled them out of their box, put them on for a second, and kind of scoffed - they didn't seem that comfortable. I set them aside for trying another day.Then a few days later, I was going out to work in the yard. Since my pretty summer flip-flops just won't cut it when I'm working in the garden, I normally end up grabbing any old pair of shoes I can find -- but not this time. This time, my Klogs Usa shoes, in all their pastel purple glory, were calling to me. I put them on and set about my business.
Klogs Shoes Really Are Comfortable
What's the verdict? After several hours in the garden that day, and several other days since, can honestly say that these shoes are extremely comfortable -- and in fact, get more comfortable each time I wear them. I also appreciate the fact that they keep my feet dry, and are easy to clean.So, while I still won't be wearing rubber clogs out, I can definitely appreciate the comfort they offer. And, if you spend a lot of time on your feet, or in a wet or messy environment, shoes like those from Klogs USA definitely deserve a spot in your footwear wardrobe.
