Through his trendy line of shoes, apparel and home decor, available in Target department stores, Isaac Mizrahi has become a household name, and has brought affordable style to the masses.
But my absolute favorite thing is that with Isaac, it always comes back to shoes.
I've recently become addicted to Isaac, the designers talk show on the Style Network.
In all honestly, I'm not usually a fan of talk shows, and don't care much about celebrity interviews. I watch mainly to hear Isaac talk about ... well, anything, and for the bit at the end called "Sketches and Answers."
During this segment, members of the audience as Isaac questions about how to wear this or that. Armed with a sharpie marker and giant sketchpad, Isaac sketches his ideas, imparting his wisdom and quirky sense of style to not only the questioner, but also those of us at home. No matter the topic of the original question, Isaac nearly always finds a way to bring it back to the shoes.
While I can think of about a million things I'd like to ask or say to legendary pop star, Cindi Lauper; Isaac of course, remembered to ask about her shoes ... going on to profess his own obsession.
