Definition: French for "shaded," ombre shoes feature uppers or other components that shift from light to dark, or appear to gradually fade from one color to another.

Not to be confused with a "tie-dye" effect (which usually has more of a pattern to it), ombre shoes, handbags and other accessories are one of fashion's hottest trends for 2008.
Also Known As: shaded, shadowed, gradient, graduated, gradiated, dip-dyed, faded, tie-dyed, degrade, color-shift, color-dipped
