Suede is definitely the choice for casual shoes this fall. Take a suede oxford from someone like Bass and you have a great shoe you can dress up jeans with or pair with a nice pair of khakis. They’re great to wear every day, look sharp and are a great addition to your closet.

The only downside to suede is that it can be tricky to clean and maintain, especially if you live in an area with tons of snow and rain. Cleaning suede isn't rocket science, but it will help those spiffy, new shoes look great all year long.
