I've learned the hard way that storage containers for shoes are nearly a necessity if you want to protect your footwear from dirt and dust. And since my footwear collection is always growing, I'm constantly on the lookout for new storage containers that will protect my shoes, while still giving me easy access and viewing.

Happily, I was recently I was contacted by a company with some of the coolest storage containers I've seen in a long time.

Stackable, Sliding Storage Containers

NeatContainers.com manufactures more than simple storage containers that require stacking in the usual way. Instead, they make and sell patented storage systems that utilize clear containers called "pods." The pods cleverly fit together to build a structure of clear drawers that are lightweight and easy to open and close.

The ingenious design actually allows the individual pods to slide out and back in easily, allowing easy access to any of the items -- even those things you've stored on the bottom.

Affordable and Easy to Use

If you're used to regular plastic shoe boxes, Neat Containers might look a little odd to you at first, but if you're after a better way to organize your shoes (or anything else for that matter), you'll want to set your reservations aside.

These systems of storage containers are easy to assemble and use, and they're extremely affordable. A wide variety of pod sizes and kits are available, and prices break down to about $2 or less per pod.
