The Bottom Line
As a person who develops dry and cracked heels very easily, and a woman who's obsessed with foot care products, I'm also always up for trying something new. Unfortunately, I've tried more than my fair share of products that simply don't work.
Needless to say, I was a bit skeptical about this product's ability to smooth my rough heels. Happily, my worries were unfounded.
Affordable, convenient and easy to use, this is by far the most time-saving I've used for smoothing the dry, rough skin on my heels.
I love when a product lives up to its claims, and the Artemis Heel Smoother Pro is one of those products.

Guide Review - Heel Smoother Pro from Artemis
Easy to Open, Easy to Use
Having been skeptical before ordering this item, I was immediately hopeful upon receiving it, due to good packaging. I get so frustrated with those clear plastic cell packages that can't be torn, or even cut open easily. The Heel Smoother Pro comes packaged in an informative cardboard box that is easy to open.
Of course, packaging only goes so far -- but within seconds of opening the box, I had the two AA batteries loaded, and was actually using the Heel Smoother.
Clever Design Makes for True Portability
I'm one of the few women I know who actually uses an electric razor to shave her legs. But one of the things that always makes me crazy when I buy a new razor is all the little "extras," like cleaning brushes and tiny bottles of oil that I know will be misplaced before they're ever needed.I was happy to find that the women who designed the Heel Smoother Pro had enough insight to include a slot for the alternate tip right inside of the lid. Absolutely everything you could need to use this product can be carried without a carrying case.
Very Effective & Faster than Other Methods
There are other effective methods for treating dry, rough and cracked heels, the simplest of which is probably using a pumice stone. But that can be time-consuming. And no other method I've used has offered the immediate gratification of the Artemis Heel Smoother Pro.It took about five minutes to sand my extremely rough heels to a sandal-ready state.
How to Use
This is a pretty straight-forward product. You simply insert the tip you want to use, select your pressure setting, and hold it to the rough skin on your feet for 2-3 seconds. The device stops spinning if too much pressure is applied.Be sure to check the manual that comes with the product for additional warnings and usage instructions.
