Sometimes it only takes a really small gesture to make a person feel special. Showing that you really know or "get" someone goes a long way when it comes to tokens of affection. Thus, if someone you know is sweet on shoes, you will definitely want to have a look at some of the fashionable shoe cookies on this list.

Shoe Cookies and More from Lori's Place

First up, there's LorisPlace on Etsy.com.

This shop has some of the prettiest cookies ever. Naturally, it's the Diva Shoes cookies that reeled me in -- and they are special. As are the witches' boots, which are available on their own, or as part of a Halloween-themed set.

Now, I know that they say "seeing is believing," and in the case of these adorable shoe cookies, that may well be enough. But I'm happy to attest to the fact that these shortbread-based cookies are as rich and decadent as they are lovely to look at.

Beyond footwear, there are loads of other must-see designs. Some of my favorites include girl pirates (with skulls and crossbones, anchors, and ships); circus elephants; bird houses; several different kinds of butterflies; princess carriages. Red hat ladies -- I love those. Oh, and cookie pops! Seriously though, the list goes on and on. So, be sure to look around.

Lori's customer satisfaction record is remarkable as well, with more than 1400 reviews, and an well-deserved average of 5 out of 5 stars.

There are a few designs that are sold individually or in six-packs, but the vast majority of these cookies are sold by the dozen, with prices ranging from about $35 - $45, plus shipping. If you're in the Dundee, Florida area, you can also arrange to pick up your order.

Current lead-time is about 2 weeks, but I have the feeling that is longer around the holidays, so you may want to order early if you're planning on serving these cookies at an event.

Be sure to check out LorisPlace for additional information.

High Heel Cookies from The Flour Pot

Next are the cuter-than-cute high heel cookies from FlourPotCookies.com. They'd make a great gift; they'd also make a nice treat for yourself.

Founded by mother and daughter team, Margie Greenberg and Abbey Alpert, The Flour Pot has been featured in loads of popular magazines, including Oprah Magazine, Glamour, and House Beautiful; as well as on Entertainment Tonight and The Food Network. So, there's a good chance you've already come across these pretties.

Based in Ambler, Pennsylvania, the cookies can be shipped nationwide. And, if you place an order, you'll be in good company, as FlourPotCookies.com has a client list that includes names like Jimmy Choo, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Ralph Lauren. But, you don't have to be part of a big company to enjoy these sweet confections. FlourPotCookies.com also accepts orders for individual cookies, like their 'Fabulous Shoe' cookies, which are priced at $5.50 each. Although there is a minimum order of 12, you don't need to order them by the dozen. You can place an order for 13 or 68 if you want, you just need to meet the minimum.

If you don't need quite that many, you can also order cookies in gift boxes, which include 6, 12, 16, or 24 cookies, and range in price from $26 - $86, plus shipping. They also sell lots of other cute designs, as well as "Charlotte Shoe" favor cookies (which are smaller and less expensive then the cookies shown above); custom logo cookies; and adorable "Be My Bridesmaid" cookies, on which you can customize the dress color, gift tag, and more.

Prices start at about $4.00 per cookie, and go up to about $9.50 for the bridesmaid styles.
