Calvin Klein 'Lexa II'
(Buy Direct)
I need another pair of ballet flats like I need another hole in the head, but all the same, I've been shopping for ballerina flats. Again.
I happened across the Calvin Klein 'Lexa 2' and was drawn to it for a number of reasons, including the fact that it was suede, and the fact that it was so simple. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a pair of prettily-embellished ballerina flats, but I also know that the simpler they are, the more you can wear them with.
These could be easily paired with any jeans, pants, capri pants, or leggings in your closet without having to worry about whether or not the silver buckle would clash with your gold bracelet, simply because there is no silver buckle.
I'm particularly smitten with the black and the dark red suede versions, but these ballerina-inspired shoes also come in loads of other colors, including cement, evergreen, and leopard print suede, plus a host of smooth leather varieties. (Buy Direct)
