I'm a big fan of mules, but I have to admit that until recently, I hadn't spent a lot of time in Swedish clogs -- mainly because I'm usually attracted to dressier styles with higher heels, but also because I'm not on my feet all day like many of those in the medical or food industries.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try out a pair of Cape Clogs, and I finally "got" why Swedish clogs had so many fans: they're simple, they're comfortable and they're stable -- and in the case of Cape Clogs, they're also a lot of fun. Offered in a wide selection of colors, materials and patterns, customers can choose from styles featuring flowers, peace signs, hearts, or even funky prints, like their popular "Kozmic" style.

Handmade in Sweden, Cape Clogs are more affordable than a lot of other Swedish clogs, with most adult styles ranging from $75 to $85, and most children's clogs ringing up at about $50 per pair. For more information, to find a retailer near you, or to shop online, be sure to visit www.CapeClogs.com. While you're there you also may want to check out the short video of Cape Clogs being made by hand in Sweden -- it's pretty cool. (Manufacturer's Site)
