I've never had a pair of slipper boots or bootie slippers, because I'm not really much of a slipper person, and when I do go in for slippers, nine times out of ten, I'm going to choose a pair of thongs. But then my feet started and legs getting cold. Maybe it's bad circulation, maybe it's an age thing, or maybe it's that I tend to wear shorts inside even when it's freezing outside. Whatever the case, I found myself in the market for a pair of slipper boots.
I found several different styles, but the tricky part was finding a pair I really liked. I didn't want anything that was too fussy, and I don't particularly like the way knit styles look on me. Happily, I found these cute, fuzzy, slouchy numbers at Nordstrom.com.
Available in mocha, ivory, light gray and black, these fleece slipper boots have 17" shafts, memory foam foot soles, and irresistable pom-poms. They're on their way to my house as I write this, so I can't comment on their comfort yet, but I was willing to take a chance once I saw the price.
