While I like the idea of studded boots, they're often a little too studded for my liking -- these Type Z boots, on the other hand, have just enough hardware to be edgy, but not so many you can't see the boots for the studs.
The 2.5" heels are also very appealing to me because they're very chunky and not too high, so these are boots I could actually see wearing on a more regular basis than those 4" stiletto boots I always seem to fall for.
