Women's oxford shoes are one of the season's top trends, which isn't all that surprising, considering that we've been seeing menswear-inspired styles topping the fall footwear trends for the past few years.

The big difference with this year's oxford shoes for women, is that they're mostly flats and low-heeled styles. Heel-lovers shouldn't despair, as there are still plenty of lace-up booties and oxford pumps to choose from, but if you really want to be on par with what's hot, shoes like the ones shown here are what you should be looking for.

I featured these particular women's oxford shoes for two reasons: 1) they're gorgeous, and 2) they don't have laces -- which is kind of humorous, since they're a play on men's lace-up shoes.

Women with remotely-wide feet or high arches should avoid these laceless styles, unless they can try them on before committing to them, as they're often difficult to get into. I've found that Steve Madden shoes in particular can run a bit small and narrow.

Having said all of that, these shoes are fabulous to look at, and they're an ideal example of a style that's especially-hot right now. Offered in black, cognac, cream, and this lovely, olive green suede, these oxford shoes feature wingtip styling and .5" heels. (Buy Direct)
