Pretty Flats

Women's Pretty Flat Shoes

By

I've always believed that the more pretty flats you have, the less time you'll spend in painful high heels. If that's true -- and, for me, it has been -- then you'll definitely want to look over this list of extra-special flat shoes for women.

Ivanka Trump 'Alicia' - Pretty Flats with Bows

Even though I'm more of a rounded toe type myself, I do appreciate the occasional pair of pointy-toed shoes, and when I see a pair of pretty flats with pointy toes, I usually take notice, since they're not always so easy to find.

These particular flats feature knotted bows on their vamps, .75" heels, and they come in black or camel suede -- either of which would be great for fall. Priced at $130, these shoes would look great with dress pants, skirts, or even jeans.

Steve Madden 'I-Dreemy' - Pretty Rhinestone Flats

I've loved these rhinestone-peppered flats from the first moment I saw them in blush, and I just fell in love all over again when I found them in black -- which, thus far, I've only seen at SteveMadden.com. Priced at right around $100 per pair, these flats are great because they can be used to jazz up jeans or leggings, or they could go a little dressier and could easily be paired with casual pants or skirts.

While I still adore both shades of these pretty women's flats, now that I'm thinking about fall, I can't help it that I'm a bit obsessed with the idea of spending the entire season in jeans paired with the black version of these shoes.

Kate Spade New York 'Noelle' - Dress Flats for Women

Here's an unexpected treat: truly dressy flats for women. I chose to feature the leopard satin version here because, as you know, animal print shoes are going to be one of the hottest shoe trends this fall. But, make no mistake about it, these shoes are every bit as dynamic in black patent.

Both versions feature vamp bows that are absolutely encrusted with shimmering rhinestones, and either version would be great for all those dressy occasions when you just can't, or don't want to, wear heels. When I see these gems, I also can't help but think ahead to the holidays, and how nice these would be for parties and family gatherings.

Steve Madden 'Kortship' - Women's Ballet Flats

The first thing that attracted me to these pretty flats is the soft lavender shade, but once I looked a bit more closely, I realized that it was also the knotted bow that gave these ballerina flats their personality. Sure, a lot of shoes have bows, but what I like about these is the way they're kind of draped around the sides, instead of just sitting proudly on top of the shoes -- it gives the flats a really soft and feminine look.

Also available in black and natural, these women's shoes are priced between $60 and $80 per pair.

Lucky Brand 'Erla' - Soft Leather Ballet Flats

So simple, so soft, and such a great example of how even the simplest of shoes can be really pretty. Made from ultra-soft leather, these pretty ballet flats come in pink, white and black, and they're a great deal at just under $60 per pair. Another nice thing about nice shoes with such a classic, uncluttered design is that they're so versatile. Free of busy print or overdone embellishments, you can wear shoes like these with any outfit that can handle a pair of flat shoes.
