Doing a Top Picks in women's Puma sneakers is kind of like saying "let's pick our favorite flavor from Cheesecake Factory." Who are we kidding here? I dare say I could pick forty pair of Puma and would still struggle with the elimination process. I want you to see them all!
However, I am comforted knowing you'll probably never get past the first few without saying, "These, I have to have." So I'll just pick a few.
Savor the sweet sensation and come back here for your next fix.
What Puma list would be complete without the wildly popular Speed Cat? This is the suede version of these classics, and the cat logo on the toe is nearly too much to take. This season's offering features lots of rich, earthy colors. Among them is a deep, musky blue that is so beautifully retro, it makes me want to weep.
These are the new Speed Cats. Sporting a big hollow cat on the side, these add a striking new twist to the line. Available in a litany of colors, I couldn't resist the "Online Lime." (Image courtesy of Zappos.com)
The fantastic follow-up to the Speed Cat is appropriately named. The asymmetric lacing gives it that "what's next" feel. I picked the red, but the Swedish Blue is equally striking.
With a name like "Van Slobbe Tae Kwon do Schuh," you
know you have to look, but it's more than the name that sets these shoes apart from the crowd -- in fact, they're not like any other Puma shoes I've ever seen. Inspired by old-fashioned fighting shoes, these sneakers feature suede and leather uppers, and a tall heel tab. The black version is not nearly as unusual as the olive green, which looks a little "elfish," without the curly toes
Half sneaker, half sandal, these satin motorsport shoes have a surprisingly feminine feel to them. Offered in light pink or pale blue.
