Designer Bridal Shoes

Top Picks for 2010

By

These designer bridal shoes are the cream of the crop in wedding shoes. From top designers such as Vera Wang, Stuart Weitzman, Manolo Blahnik and Gina Shoes, any bride would be thrilled to glide down the aisle in these designer shoes.

While some of them are not as expensive as you might expect, others cost a bundle - but you might decide to forego the honeymoon once you see them.

In no particular order, here are the top picks in designer bridal shoes.

1. Kate Spade 'Gracie' - Designer Bridal Shoes

Made in Italy and oozing feminine charm, these sling-back sandals come in traditional white as well as other colors like ivory, camel patent and a black and cream combination. The 3.5" heels add height without being unbearably high, while the pretty structured bow adds loads of "wow" factor.

2. Badgley Mishcka 'Randall' - Gorgeous Designer Wedding Shoes

One of my favorite styles on the list, these bridal shoes are gorgeous, but with 4.25" heels, they're definitely not for high heel novices. Available in white, silver and black, these two-piece pumps have an incredibly feminine and glamorous shape, which is only enhanced by the flirty fabric flower embellishments.

3. Delman 'Selma' - Gorgeous and Unique Sandals

With a delicate lattice design and accents of metallic silver leather, these strappy sandals are like nothing I've ever seen before. And as fantastic as the uppers are, these sling-backs also sport a 4" mirrored heel that's shiny enough to check your lipstick in.

4. Stuart Weitzman 'Larosa' - Beautiful Embellished Bridal Shoes

Shapely and seductive, without being overdone, these gorgeous Stuart Weitzman shoes feature 4.25" heels that are offset by 1" partially-concealed platform soles. The slingback design is a classic that would work for any season, and the Swarovski-studded rose embellishments are sparkly without being overdone. Made in Spain, these stunning shoes come in white, ivory, black and red.

5. 'Lopez' - Benjamin Adams Bridal Shoes

All eyes will be on you, so you might as well keep them there with a pair of really special bridal shoes, like these Swarovski-covered sling-backs from Benjamin Adams. Hand-crafted from duchess silk and kid leather by Paradox London, these stunning bridal shoes have heels that are just over 3 inches high.

6. 'X3754' Satin Mid-Heel Halter - Manolo Blahnik Bridal Shoes

Classic Blahnik meets classic bridal shoes in the 'Carolyne' mid-heel halter slingbacks -- but you won't just look good in these shoes, you'll likely feel good in them too. The 2.75" heels are very wearable, and the elastic on the slingback straps should provide a bit of added comfort. As with many designer shoes, these run a bit on the small size, so you'll definitely want to try them on first, unless you already know your size in Manolos. (Compare Prices)

7. Gina Bridal Shoes - Gorgeous Designer Wedding Shoes

I could search far and wide, and I doubt I'd find designer shoes that I covet more than I do Gina shoes. There's nothing "regular" about their regular shoe line, and their bridal shoes are exquisite beyond compare. I've featured the 'Gita' which features silk uppers of champagne gold that have been covered with Swarovski 'Alabaster' crystals in varying shapes and sizes, because I think it would make a great special occasion shoe even after the wedding. I doubt you could find anything more beautiful, but in all honesty, you owe it to yourself to check out the complete collection of Gina shoes before deciding. (Manufacturer's Site)
