Cutout Booties

Cutout booties provide the high-cut coverage of a bootie, combined with the airiness of a sandal. This trend really started catching in the Spring / Summer of 2008, but is continuing to gain popularity, and many Spring 2009 lines are introducing styles with these features.

Whether it's open-toes, cut-away sides, cut-out heels, or any combination of those features, cutout booties will take you from Fall to early Summer in style.

Cut out booties provide a sexy, mult-seasonal look that's fairly easy to wear. They can be paired with everything from skinny jeans to dresses, but remember that they're a somewhat heavy style. Be sure to balance the color and the heels with the rest of your outfit.
